Court Technology Services provides and supports the technology tools to power the court and justice system throughout Alberta.
Role
Under the direction of the Judicial IT Security Officer, you will be responsible for all aspects of Information Technology account, network, server, SAN management and support within Court Services. You will also be responsible for supporting the overall security of the courts by monitoring security alerts, analyzing and advising on security advisories and environmental scans, maintaining current knowledge of industry security practices, assisting with investigating security incidents, weaknesses, and IT Internal Investigations.
Primary responsibilities include the account maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, problem resolution of network, server and SAN infrastructure. Includes the design, installation and upgrading of network, server and SAN hardware and software, as well as the evaluation of new technologies and products.

Qualifications
University graduation in computer science or a related discipline plus two years related experience. Or equivalent as described below:
Equivalency: A related two-year diploma in computer technology or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and a minimum of four years (4) related experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
• Expertise and in depth understanding of Network Services (LAN and WAN networks, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Server OS’s (Linux, Windows, Cisco)
• Working knowledge of information security incident prevention, detection and response
• Knowledge of Directory Services. Cloud technologies, Microsoft M365 Exchange, Intune, AWS, Cacti, Nagios, IDM 4, Commvault 8+, Cisco IOS, Fortinet, Wireshark, Network penetration testing/MITRE, Nmap
• Knowledge of forensic examination hardware and software, digital forensic procedures (evidence acquisition and handling), requirements for documenting forensic investigation findings, preparing STRA’s and other risk assessments
• ITIL v3 Foundation, CISSP certification, Cisco CCNA,

$2,645.60– $3,632.52 bi-weekly
